I recently had one of my Nikon D100s crap out on me during a shoot and boy was I bummed!

After getting home and spending some serious time diagnosing the issue I found that a small swing arm that lifts the mirror had broken or fallen out. I will eventually have this repaired so long as it isn't too expensive. My backup boody is also sort of busted in the fact that it has the mirror lock up issue common with the D100. It wont let me use a flash and it has a shutter lag. So it doesn't work for anything I shoot which is fashion and action sports, lol. I was terribly bummed when this happened and my heart sank since I had some shoots coming up within a week. I sent out an emergency request on craigslist for a D100 for sale but got no real responses. I turned to Ebay and was fortunate to get a D100 in great condition with low shutter count and within driving distance so I don't even have to pay for shipping!! Excellent.

I'm planning on getting my new D100 tomorrow and grab some sushi while I'm out there!!Weeeeee for sushi and properly working cameras!
